Tancred 2005 The Cerebral Hemispheres (Telencephalon) are involved in the perception of sensory information, control of voluntary movement, speech, cognition and all aspects of personality and behaviour. Structures: Cerebral Hemisphere Information: The telencephalon is the more rostral of the two secondary brain vesicles which form from the prosencephalon. The embryonic telencephalon develops into the cerebral hemispheres of the adult brain.
