It also may be associated with Lyme disease, Wegener's granulomatosis, Sjogren syndrome, cryoglobulinemia, hypereosinophilia, temporal arteritis, scleroderma, sarcoidosis, leprosy, acute viral hepatitis A, and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome.
