Description | The ALLERGIDOC Ontology represents and articulates scientific, clinical and generalist knowledge of the allergy domain, through user-oriented main classes (facets) closely linked to informational targets of allergy professionals. It has been constructed by Marcin Trzmielewski (under the direction of Céline Paganelli) for the Allergy Unit of the Montpellier University Hospital, as a part of a thesis in Information Science and Communication Studies at the Paul-Valéry University of Montpellier 3. The ontology was created according to a constructivist approach, that relied on one hand, on the study of the informational practices of allergy employees; and on the other hand, on a terminological and linguistic analysis of documents that employees use in their daily activities. The version 1.1 was edited by 5 students in vocational Bachelor degree specialized in Documentation & Library Science : Guillemette Allirol, Sandrine Bretin, Olivia Charrier, Nathalie Lyon-Caen, Tania Uribe, under the supervision of Marcin Trzmielewski. |
