Definitions
A cessation of respiratory airflow that may affect infants of 1 to 23 months old, caused by neurological impairment of the respiratory rhythm or obstruction of airflow through the air passages. The symptoms include cyanosis, pallor or bradycardia and snoring in case of obstructive apnoea.
