This term was made obsolete because it partly referred to an amino acid chain cleavage (a non-existent entity) and modified amino-acid residue. (Comment prior to obsoleting) PRO needs to distinguish between pre-translational modifications (such as selenocysteine) and those that occur after chain elongation begins; also, chain cleavage must be included. For these reasons MOD:00000 is not used.
