discussion |
"Property value" classes provide formal classifications of the kinds of measurements made in the course of physical experiments and analyses according to the use intended for the value. For example a value may represent a single measurement recorded from an instrument, the value as scaled to a system of measures such as Systeme Internationale, the value as a statistical measure of a set of values, or the value of a correlation between two sets of measures. Annotations of Property value classes are intended to formally distiguish property values that should be compared or analyzed with care. |
