Preferred Name

mononucleate monoseptate vegetative cell with anucleate compartment

Definitions
A physical cellular phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which a cell contains one nucleus and one septum. The septum divides the cell into two compartments, one of which contains the nucleus. Most mononucleate monoseptate cells are inviable (cf. FYPO:0002303), and the viable cells (FYPO:0007665) are diploid.
Synonyms
mononucleate monoseptate vegetative cell during mitotic cell cycle
septation independent of mitosis
septation without nuclear division
displaced nucleus with septum
septation in the absence of nuclear division
