comment: Occassionally, 'bioinformtics' is distinguished as the discipline creating computational tools and databases for biosciences, while 'computational biology' applies these tools to bioscientific research. In practice, these terms are often used interchangeably, and a substantial part of research work comprises both of these aspects.
