PDB is a chronic disease affecting 2 to 3% of the population above the age of 40 years.(PDB2): Bone- remodeling disorder with clinical similarities to FEO. Unlike FEO, however, affected individuals have involvement of the axial skeleton with lesions in the spine, pelvis and skull. |
