The artery of the lower arm that supplies the medial part of the anterior compartment of the forearm, wrist and hand, the superficial structures of the central palm and most of the palmar and distal dorsal aspects of the fingers, whose pulse can be palpated on the flexor surface of the wrist medially.
An artery of the forearm; in general it arises from the brachial artery just below the elbow and forms numerous branches supplying the forearm, wrist and hand.
