Should software distribution be considered a type of data distribution?

Proposal: Location of Software_Distribution
I would not have looked under Data_Distribution to locate these fields for software.  To be data and software are distinct, data implying numbers, files, etc. to be used or output by a software application.

Perhaps moving this under Software (it may already be there - I haven't checked it) and calling it Software_Distribution_Format would be more useful.
