Seborrheic keratosis is a benign lesion of the skin that occurs more frequently in sunlight exposed areas. The lesions can appear anywhere on the body, but most often occur on the face, chest, and back. There may be just one or clusters of dozens. A raised growth on the skin of older individuals. The lesion usually is initially light tan and may darken to dark brown or nearly black. The consistent feature of seborrheic keratoses is their waxy, pasted-on or stuck-on look. |
